Had a blast sitting down with our friend, Evan Slaughter, also known to his fans as Fit2Serve. Evan's bio runs the gamut: From "social club" party boy to serving his country in Afghanistan, from a season of addiction to finding God and becoming a social media influencer, pickelball aficionado, Chubbie's model, and stand up comedian... Evan has seemingly seen it all and done it all, sharing that sometimes in order to find your way you have to get a little lost.

Evan is a purple heart recipient who, due to his injury in Afghanistan and PTSD, got hooked to opioids. His addiction to pain killers increased to more serious drug abuse that eventually landed him in and out of jail, rehab, and ultimately losing everything. It wasn’t until he attended Turning Point Foundation when he recognized the importance of good community and "building a life you don’t wanna lose". Through his journey of trials turned triumph, Evan turned to comedy and the desire to make people laugh regardless of what they're going through. Evan now travels all over the country modeling, hosting, and creating content that focuses on making life a little more lighthearted. He uses his platform to share his story and how God redeemed his life.
